Horse Fencing Mesh is a type of field fence. The "S" knot wire is specifically designed to be safer for horses. This fencing solution ties a piece of wire around the stay and the horizontal line wire and is and is very aesthetically pleasing and safe fencing option.
The Hesly horse fencing mesh is knotted which makes an extremely strong fence that remains rigid but will flex with impact. The mesh joins have a unique design providing a smooth edge one side which stops and sharp wire edges causing injury to horses of other animals. The knot also Resists buckling and sagging.
The strong 50mm x 100mm ( 2" x 4") "non-climb" mesh prevents frightened or fighting horses from stepping through, walking down, or getting over the fence. Red brand non-climb horse fencing mesh is a premium product that will provide the discerning horse owner a long lasting enclosure to keep your horses safe and healthy.
The HeslyFence's Horse Fence is manufactured with high tensile wire which strains tighter than mild steel and so requires fewer intermediate posts, making it quicker to erect. It does not stretch with weathering so does not need to be retightened annually.
A straining post is required at every major change in direction or any termination and should be supported by a strut or box assembly. Netting should be tied off on the straining posts by hand or with suitable joiners.. When tensioning the fence the ‘crimp’ in the net should be reduced by approx: 50%. Avoid driving staples tight against the wire as this will damage the galvanised coating. Recommended for use with one single strand of lightning to add additional height and visability
