GABIONS are double-twisted wire mesh baskets of variable sizes, uniformly partitioned into internal cells, interconnected with other similar units. They are filled with stone at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures, such as retaining walls, sea walls, channel linings, revetments and weirs for erosion control projects.

PVC coated Gabion
PVC Coated Gabion Mesh is a kind of hexagonal wire mesh container, which is woven by PVC coated steel wire. The core wire is galvanised or galfan alloy wire. The PVC coating is the a second protective layer. It offers all the benefits of galvanized wire including its galvanic properties including the corrosion resistance properties. Any RAL200 color is available for the PVC coated. But the color of Green and Grey are most popular.
